Collage, a 5 piece vocal group assembled in 2005 is comprised of Dave Bell, Sharon Jackson, Vonda Laffin, Janet Rae and Hank Middleton.  The group has a large repertoire of Maritime/East Coast Music, along with many folk, celtic, “roots”, jazz and pop/rock numbers that are known to the audience.  With all members having Acadian ancestry, the group is able to offer an expanded set of both traditional and modern Acadian compositions. The group also performs original songs, many  included  as tracks on their  CD, “Scenes of Home” or Hank’s CD, “Middletunes”.  The strength of the group is in arrangements that focus on vocal harmonies.  With a diversity of vocalists and a number of musical styles, Collage has over 120 tunes on their set list.  Check out more info at : www.middletunes.ca

"My time in IB Art was amazing.  It was a one-of-a-kind experience for each person in my class. It let me work at my own pace on my own collection, teaching me amazing time management skills.  It was the best experience of my high school “career” and I feel a lot more prepared for the world of an art university because of it." - Kyrsten Collyer, 1st-year student at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NASCAD)
